Our mission is to provide utility assistance to under-resourced families by using renewable energy resources.
Sometimes it takes a need to identify the needs of others. As a father of five amazing children, living in a city with around a million people, I certainly understand the feeling of being at the mercy of public utilities. Understanding how it feels to open your front door only to find a disconnection notice. This is the driving force behind World Tree Energy. I believe renewable energy should be accessible to everyone, not just the few who have the means.
My passion comes from necessity, I know the helpless feeling of losing power in a home full of children. Whether it's a storm causing a power outage or, a utility disconnection.
This is a chance to make a monumental change and, provide help to those who need it. Not only now but, for generations to come.
-Founder and President of World Tree Energy- Jason Neuhard
The mission of World Tree Energy is to provide reliable renewable energy resources to low-income families at zero cost. Providing the resources necessary to live with one less utility bill, while increasing property value and decreasing dependency of grid tied utilities.
World Tree Energy is currently establishing corporate partnerships to ensure sustainability. Along with local partnerships with solar providers, we are forming partnerships with other nonprofit organizations within the community. By forming these partnerships, we strive to serve communities across Ohio and branch out to the North East.
We are accepting pre-registration applications for our solar-based utility assistance program. If you receive food assistance benefits and can provide a current mortgage statement then you are eligible for our program. Because World Tree Energy is a registered nonprofit organization, there will be no cost to the homeowner. No credit check or out-of-pocket expense.
